Nadine Bartley

Nadine Bartley,
PT OCS
Physical Therapist / Owner

I grew up on the island of Jersey in the United Kingdom and graduated from Queen’s College in Glasgow, Scotland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. I began my career working in London on a busy adult neurological rehab unit, treating a wide variety of conditions including Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and stroke.

I moved to Los Angeles in 1991 and began specializing in orthopedics. In 1997 I became an American Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), and I re-certified in 2007 and 2017. I was accepted into the prestigious Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Residency Program in 1998, and after graduating I joined the faculty of the Southern California Orthopedic Residency Program, mentoring and teaching manual therapy techniques to licensed physical therapists.

I have worked with many top-class surgeons in a variety of clinical settings, including Orthopedic Hospital’s Joint Replacement Institute, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles/Sunset and Kerlan-Jobe. And now I have the pleasure of working with our excellent physicians in the Conejo Valley.

At Bartley Physical Therapy we place a strong emphasis on continuing education, and I regularly attend seminars on the exciting new developments in orthopedic medicine.

Since moving to Thousand Oaks in 2004 with my husband Roger and our children Sophie and Evan, we have thoroughly enjoyed living in the beautiful Conejo Valley! At weekends I love hiking with my three dogs Rooney, Ruby and Rashford and cooking Vegan and Italian food!

I began my career at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys before moving to Simi Valley Hospital, where for 13 years I specialized in orthopedics and sports injuries in their outpatient department.

I have worked with Nadine since 2007 and I enjoy the clinical environment at Bartley Physical Therapy, which allows me to deliver the best care possible for my patients.

I enjoy playing golf, doing handyman projects around the house, and spending time with my wife Amy and our children Eddy and Natalie.

I was raised in Woodland Hills, CA but decided to venture away for college. I attended Washington State University, and received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 1998. Upon graduation I returned to Southern California to continue my education, and completed my masters of Physical Therapy at California State University, Northridge in 2002. I worked over 12 years at an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Agoura Hills before joining Bartley Physical Therapy.

I have taken various continuing education courses over the years including cupping and Graston Technique, which have been a good addition to help reduce scar tissue, muscle tightness and myofascial restrictions to help restore mobility.

I have been living in Ventura County for over 20 years with my husband and two children. When I am not at work I am taking my kids to their various sporting practices, games, and competitions.

I was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana (home of Orville Redenbacher, King of Popcorn) in the greater Chicagoland area. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Health Science in 2009 from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. At BGSU I played Division 1 men’s soccer for four seasons. I went on to receive my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northwestern University in Chicago in 2013.

Since graduating, I have been working in orthopedics and sports medicine, treating everyone from weekend warriors to collegiate athletes. I implemented a bike-fitting program for the cycling community in Chicago, and in 2016 I received my American Specialty Board of Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS). I became a Clinical Instructor for Doctoral physical therapy students at Northwestern University, and was involved in injury prevention screenings for the adolescent sports population. I have taken many courses in orthopedic management of sports injuries, an area I find particularly interesting as I like to compete in marathons and Ironman triathlons.

I moved to Thousand Oaks from Chicago in 2016, and I love the clinical environment at BPT which allows me time with my patients to problem solve and reach successful outcomes. When I am not reading the latest research in physical therapy I am having fun with my two young children and my beautiful wife Jenny.

I was born and raised in Chicago, and received my bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Michigan. I moved to Los Angeles in 2004 to attend the University of Southern California for my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Upon graduation from USC, I decided to further my education by specializing in orthopedics. After completing an American Physical Therapy Association credentialed Orthopedic Residency in 2008, I became a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2009.

After spending a few years working in Los Angeles, I traveled for four years and worked in top clinics and hospitals all across America, including Spaulding Rehab and Stanford. This was an amazing experience as I was able to learn from so many talented physical therapists and incorporate their best ideas into my treatments today.

Upon my return to southern California, I worked with the students and club athletes at UCLA. Here, I was able to collaborate with the sports medicine and orthopedic physicians and fellows on a twice weekly basis during rounds and case conferences.

I moved to Ventura County in 2014 and I enjoy working with college and high school athletes, as well as orthopedic injuries of all types. I now work per diem at BPT in addition to my full time job as Mom and chauffeur!

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, traveling, running, watching sports, and going out to eat.

I was raised in Newbury Park, CA and graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology in 2000. I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2004. Prior to joining Bartley Physical Therapy, I worked for over 10 years at an outpatient orthopedic clinic in the San Fernando Valley where I specialized in orthopedic shoulder and elbow conditions, oncology related conditions, impairments for women pre and post-partum, and infants with torticollis.

I have received extensive training in treating patients with breast cancer; for pre and post-surgical impairments and chemotherapy induced conditions. In addition, my continuing education courses have included a fundamental to advanced training class in kinesiotaping to improve performance and speed recovery as well as training the patient in low back dysfunction by using functional movement and pelvic mobility.

I have lived in Moorpark for over 10 years with my husband and two children. We enjoy any and all outdoor activities especially hiking, water sports, camping, and going to the many beaches and lakes in Southern California.

I grew up in the beautiful state of Washington in a suburb of Seattle, and then moved to southern California to attend college. I graduated from California Lutheran University (CLU) in 2009 where I received my Bachelor’s degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude and with departmental honors. While at CLU I studied exercise science and sports medicine and was a member of the cross-country and track teams. I then went on to receive my Master’s of Physical Therapy degree from California State University Northridge in 2013 where I graduated with honors. I became a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2019.

Before joining Bartley Physical Therapy I worked for several years in Woodland Hills at an outpatient orthopedic clinic treating a wide range of sports and orthopedic conditions. I have taken numerous continuing education courses to advance my treatment techniques including courses in treatment for the injured runner, functional biomechanics of the lower extremity, Graston Technique, and Kinesiology Taping. In addition, I am a certified LSVT BIG Clinician which specializes in the treatment of patients with Parkinsons Disease.

When not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband and two young children. We love spending time outdoors doing activities such as running, hiking, biking, and jet skiing.

Please call me Charlie! I grew up in Arcadia, just east of Pasadena, and headed to the University of San Francisco for my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Sports Science. At USF I also competed in Division 1 Cross Country and Track & Field for all four years, racing all distances from 1500m to 10k. I then went to USC (Go Trojans!) to study for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

I really enjoy solving the complexities of running injuries, and as a runner I can empathize too! I use my movement analysis skills to correct my patients’ form, and that can be so crucial in returning to injury-free sport. I like to incorporate my Pilates training with many of my back pain patients — Pilates helps improve core strength and decrease symptoms. My experience working with recent stroke patients inspired me to volunteer for the annual Spinal Cord Injury Games at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center, where I met people of incredible resilience. I enjoy helping patients with balance and gait disorders, and I love the challenge of designing specific exercise programs to really make a difference in their lives.

As well as running, I enjoy hiking and camping in our amazing wilderness areas. I’m an avid sports fan (Go Rams and Lakers!) and I enjoy basketball, baseball and football.

I'm excited to be a member of Bartley Physical Therapy, primarily because the individualized care gives me a great opportunity to connect with my patients, to learn about their activities and help them reach their goals.

I am a SoCal girl through and through! I grew up in Simi Valley, and went to Royal High School.  I graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, with a concentration in Health Promotion. Then I moved on down the coast to San Marcos where I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy with honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

My experience includes work in outpatient orthopedic and neurological settings with a variety of patients of all ages. I particularly enjoy being creative with the challenges of treating Parkinson's Disease and other balance and gait disorders.  I have had a strong passion for orthopedics ever since competing as a high school swimmer, getting injured, and going through physical therapy myself.  I always strive to give my patients the best care possible, and improve their overall quality of life.

I really enjoy working at Bartley Physical Therapy alongside so many wonderful clinicians. The clinic has such a warm and friendly atmosphere, and it makes coming to work a joy.  I am thoroughly enjoying my new part time position at BPT in addition to my full time Mom position with our beautiful baby daughter, Amy Rose.

Dr. Christina Iezza

Dr. Christina Iezza,

Physical Therapist

Hi, I’m Dr. Christina Iezza. My last name is pronounced Yetsa, and originates from around Naples in Italy. I was born and raised in Glendale, California, which is where I fell in love with softball, starting in Little League and continuing into high school. I loved being a competitive athlete, but I suffered some pretty gnarly injuries to both my knees. It wasn’t fun to be benched from my favorite sport, but it did spark my interest in a career in Physical Therapy. I graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and an emphasis in Exercise Science, and went on to earn my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro University Nevada.

Before joining the team at Bartley Physical Therapy, I worked in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic with a specialty in Pilates, and as a pediatric physical therapist, working with children who had gross motor delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and orthopedic conditions such as torticollis. At Bartley PT, I still have a soft spot for my patients who are young athletes, because I know firsthand how crucial PT is when you’re aiming to recover full mobility. Working in pediatrics taught me how to be creative with treatment plans for all my patients, customizing specific exercise programs to meet each individual’s goals.

When I’m not treating, you can find me cheering on my Boys in Blue (Go Dodgers!), on a hiking trail with my German shorthair Kona, or cooking up some Italian food with friends and family!

Hello! I am Katie. I grew up in Vail, Colorado where I fell in love with skiing, trail running and climbing mountains. After spending the first 18 years of my life in a mountain resort, I attended the University of Missouri.  I graduated with degrees in Health Science and Psychology I went on to receive a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. In July 2021, I traded the mountains for the ocean and moved to the greater Los Angeles area.

I love being a physical therapist because it gives me the opportunity to be a part of an individual's journey to recovery and overall well-being. I have experience with orthopedic, neurologic, and chronic pain conditions. My goal is to give the best possible treatment by creating individualized programs best suited for each patient to improve movement, function and reduce the risk for injury.

Outside of physical therapy, you can find me watching college football, soaking up the sun on the beach, road biking, hiking and camping.
